America’s Have Nots and Whiners – Some Facts

Have you ever stopped to wonder, why so many of the world’s have nots are busting their derrieres to get here. Wonder no longer. Lets take a hard look at what America’s (so called) poor have to put up with. By virtually any criterion, Americans, even poor ones, live considerably better lives than they did even a decade or two ago. By checking we find that in 1995, 66 percent of poor households had air conditioning. Just 10 years later, in 2005, 80 percent of the poor had air conditioning at home. In 1995, 70 percent of poor households owned a car, and 27 percent owned two or more cars. By 2005, almost 75 percent owned cars, and 31 percent owned two or more. About 25 percent of the poor owned an automatic dishwasher in 1995. In 2005, more than 33 percent have a dishwasher. Microwave ownership jumped from 64 percent in 1995 to 89 percent by 2005. We won't even look at TV's or cell phones or recorders! 

The lowest-income one-fifth of households spend, per person, as much today as the median American household in the early 1970s, after adjusting for inflation. Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation writes, "Most of America's 'poor' live in material conditions that would be judged as comfortable or well-off just a few generations ago."

There is no comparison with those living in third world countries. BK

Let’s Keep Christ In Christmas

As a Christian country We must not settle for a season with no reason, as the liberal secularists would like us to adopt; believing in very little! However they won't convert me! As the season of peace approaches, my heart becomes excited to hear the greetings of "Merry Christmas", see the lights and hear the sounds, and to ponder the peace of this season. Christ is born!
However, our country has lost the true meaning of this most special season. It is no longer Christmas. It has become a Winter Holiday, a Snowflake Festival, a Gala of Lights or whatever name sounds politically correct. However We Christians must not allow ourselves or our children to fall prey to this nonsense. Remember the reason for this season is the birth of the Christ child. Do not be satisfied with angels and do not be content with stars in the sky. Seek Him out as the shepherds did. Worship Him as the wise men did. Risk whatever it takes to seek the Christ child this Christmas season. Have a very merry Christmas. We must remain a truly Christian nation under God.

Comment: There were so many of the anti God Democrats supporting a House resolution to honor Ramadan, that they voted against a similar resolution to honor Christmas and Christianity May God forgive us for electing these haters of America’s values! I am so tired of hearing people criticize Bush and the war. After the 9/11 attacks we came together as a nation and started this war on terrorism. Yes, we got Saddam, but what about bin Laden and the terrorists who are attacking other countries and will once again attack us?

Our soldiers ARE NOT fighting for a "bad" cause, they are fighting for the people who died on 9/11 and for our freedom from such attacks in the future, (which may I add there have been none). I will never forget 9/11; I will always be proud to be an American; and while I may not agree with everything our president does; I will not criticize him, as I cannot imagine or fathom what being in his position and having to make the decisions he faces. 
Some people are outraged over the war. But if we had not gone to war, everyone would have been outraged. But now it seems many have forgotten the outrage of 9/11. I feel sorry for those who don't remember. .BK

I truly feel that my "Our" wonderful God fearing America, has become spiritually wretched, poor, blind and naked. Jimmy Carter, you're the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people ho stage. You're the runner-in-chief.

Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses to the U.S.S. Cole and the First Trade Center Bombing and Our Embassy Bombings emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately, they grew bolder, until 9/11.

John Kerry , dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam. Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You've accused our Soldiers of terrorizing women and children in Iraq. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, the same words you used to describe Vietnam. You're a fake. You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did the Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam, is another war that you were for, before you were against it.

John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can't win militarily in Iraq. You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof and said we should re-deploy to Okinawa. Okinawa, John? And the Democrats call you their military expert! Are you sure you didn't suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You're a sad, pitiable, corrupt and washed up politician. You're not a Marine, sir. You wouldn't amount to a good pimple on a real Marine's A__. You're a phony and a disgrace. Run away, John.

Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned Southeast Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? Lord help us! See Dick run.

Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster-sized pictures from Abu Grhaib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraqi's torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news, Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrate real torture for you again. If you truly supported our troops, you'd show the world poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a communist victory there. You're a bloated, drunken fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genocidal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on your wide, gin-soaked rear-end in Washington.

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Chuck Schumer, the Hollywood Leftist morons, et al, ad nauseam: Every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied, that the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers, that we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers - the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we'll run away again, and all they have to do is hang on a little longer.

American news media, the New York Times particularly: Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one United with the sub-hum an pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can't strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer.

You are America's "AXIS OF IDIOTS". Your Collective Stupidity will destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist-abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don't ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended Vietnam. If you want our Soldiers home, as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies.

Yes, I'm questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I'm also questioning why you're stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don't deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war, this country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people who are willing to defend it.
America must hear it from you that these self-centered people are harming our country, abetting the enemy and endangering our safety. Well up a little anger, please, and channel it toward the appropriate targets. You must prosecute those who leak national security secrets to the media. You must prosecute those in the media who knowingly publish those secrets.

Our Soldiers need you to confront the enemy that they cannot. They need you to do it now. Isn't truth grand?

Have you noticed? My (OUR) America is being torn asunder by a culture war. America has now begun to break down along class, ethnic and racial lines. However there is a greater threat to U.S. sovereignty and independence; it's the scheme of the global elite, to erase America’s borders and merge the USA, Mexico and Canada into a North American Union. If they succeed, We can look forward to our Yankee dollar evolving into the AMEX, much like the Euro! Bush-bashing will not fool America's voters. 
No president ever was more maligned or insulted or bashed as much as our Commander in Chief, George Bush.
Democrats say he deserves it, but Democrats currently hold the majority in Congress and have excelled in providing no leadership in economic or security matters. Hillary Clinton, mistress of prevarication, wants voters to think she has the know-how to run the country if she is elected president. However as a senator from New York, she has accomplished nothing, either through legislation or leadership, that has helped America. Voters will not be fooled.
The country's Security is President George Bush's No. 1 goal for America. There are terrorists all over the world and many of us believe, even in this country, with a will and desire to destroy the U.S.A., and Mr. Bush is leading the war against them, yet our national media bashes Bush instead of the terrorists. And Hillary and a cabal of craven Democrats would cut and run! I for one don't want a Chamberlain clone at the helm of our country, "Victory" to George Bush is defeating those who would destroy us! Terrorists cut the heads off of American citizens on the Internet...and there is no outrage, but an American soldier kills an Iraqi in the midst of battle, and there are investigations, and sometimes soldiers are even jailed...for doing their job. It is absolutely sickening to me to think our country has come to this.
Why are we so obsessed with the bad news?  Why will people stop at nothing to be against this war, no matter how much evidence of the good we've done is thrown in their face?  When is the last time CNN or MSNBC or CBS (OUR MISERABLE LIBERAL MAINSTREAM MEDIA) reported the opening of schools and hospitals in Iraq or the leaders of terror cells being detained or killed?  It's all happening, but people will not let up their hatred of Mr. Bush.  They will ignore the good news, because it just might show people that Bush was right.
Has America has lost its will to fight?  It has lost its will to defend what is right and just in the world.  The crazy thing of it all is that We the American people have not even been asked to sacrifice a single thing.
It's not like World War Two, where people rationed food, and turned in cars to be made into metal for tanks.  The American people have not been asked to sacrifice anything! Maybe this is why there is sooooooooooooo much apathy? Think!!! BK

A lot of truth in this 

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited  by him on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary. My confession:
I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish.   And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees Christmas trees. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are:  Christmas trees.

It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, "Merry Christmas" to me. I don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu. If  people want a creche, it's just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship Nick and Jessica and we aren't allowed to worship God as we understand Him? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too.  But there are a lot of us who are wondering where Nick and Jessica came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking. 

Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her "How could God let something like this happen?" (regarding Katrina)  Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, "I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives.  And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?"

In light of recent events...terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found recently) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself.  And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said OK.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW."


Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.  Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.   Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.  Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is  suppressed in the school and workplace.

Veteran's Day
Comment: The Iraq war has been referred to as "Bush's War" and so far over 3,500 Americans have died. In all fairness, then, the First World War was Wilson's War, a Democrat, and 54,036 Americans died. The Second World War could be called Roosevelt's War, a Democrat, and 291,567 Americans died. The Korean War could be called Truman's War, a Democrat, and 33,651 Americans died. The Viet Nam War could be called Johnson's War, a Democrat, and 58,202 Americans died. The Gulf War, Bush #1's War, a Republican, and 148 Americans died. It would seem, then, that if the politicians are going to blame wars on Presidents, they should do their homework and actually pick up a history book.

At the age of 79 I must admit that the way Halloween is celebrated today as opposed to my youth when it was a combination of carnival and ghost stories. Now it gives me pause to wonder, what  the current crop of celebrants is thinking? Because as we take a close look at the perversion of the current spirit of modern of Halloween, let's take a moment to focus on one a really scary possibilities of "human evil" Hillary Clinton The "ghost of evils past" becoming the next President of the United States just 12 months from now. Now if that doesn't scare you; you need not whistle when walking past graveyards!! BK

33 Senators Voted Against English as America 's Official Language June 6, 2007

Those 4 Senators vying to lead America but won't or don't have the courage to cast a vote in favor of English as America's official language when 91% of American citizens want English officially designated as our language.

This is the second time in the last several months this list of Senators have disgraced themselves as political hacks... unworthy as Senators and certainly unqualified to serve as President of the United States.

If America is as angry as I am, you will realize a back-lash so stunning it will literally rock you out of your panties... and preferably, totally out of the United States Senate.

The entire immigration bill is a farce... your action only confirms this really isn't about America ; it's about self-serving politics... despicable at best.

It's a rainy day and I sit and ponder, the primaries taking place and the reasons we elect people to public office. This should give us the right to expect one paramount thing. Those elected should be motivated by the desire to uphold their sworn contract to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. With that in mind I am afraid, that most of us do not take the time, or have desire to understand how very important adherence to the Constitution is to our daily lives! Trust me it protects our freedom of speech and assembly; our freedom of worship; our right to keep and bear arms; our right to a trial by jury; the right to be secure in our own homes against police overreach; our right to pray each in his own way to Jesus Christ and be a witness for Christ in public, as a Christian! The right to own property; the right to not be deprived of life or property without due process of law; the right to face our accusers, and the right to keep government local and limited; a much desired fact that keeping government local and limited is the cornerstone doctrine of American government. Never forget that in most nations, the federal government holds power over virtually every area of the lives of its people. "NOT SO IN AMERICA AT LEAST", not in the America  put together at it's inception by our fore-fathers! Consider that the plethora of problems, that we are now facing, socially, culturally, financially, etc., stem from America abandoning the basic founding principle that "the government that governs least governs best." However in my opinion, we the people and our commitment to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness has been (and is being) systematically stripped from us--not by State legislatures, but mostly by agencies of the federal government. Have most of us paid any attention to how it has been the federal courts that have banned prayer in school, and legalized abortion and homosexual marriage. Even in the liberal State of Massachusetts it was the courts (along with a compliant weak liberal governor, Mitt Romney), that forced acceptance of homosexual marriage upon the people. However! not to really worry, we are still allowed and expected to pay the freight for these grand social experiments. BK

Read on!  

Understand, the current battle we are engaged in is much bigger that just Iraq. What happens in the next year will affect this country and how our kids and grandkids live throughout their lifetime, and beyond.

Radical Islam has been attacking the West since the seventh century.

They have been defeated in the past and decimated to the point of taking hundreds of years to recover. But they can never be totally defeated.

Their birth rates are so far beyond civilized world rates that in time they recover and attempt to dominate again.

There are eight terror-sponsoring countries that make up the grand threat to the West. Two, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, just need firm pressure from the West to make major reforms. They need to decide who they are really going to support and commit to that support. That answer is simple. They both will support who they think will hang in there until the end, and win. We are not sending very good signals in that direction right now, thanks to the Democrats.

The other six, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, North Korea and Libya will require regime change or a major policy shift. Now, let's look more closely.

Afghanistan and Iraq have both had regime changes, but are being fueled by outsiders from Syria and Iran. We have scared Gaddafi's pants off, and he has given up his quest for nuclear weapons, so I don't think Libya is now a threat. North Korea (the non-Islamic threat) can be handled diplomatically by buying them off. They are starving. That leaves Syria and Iran. Syria is like a frightened puppy. Without the support of Iran they will join the stronger side. So where does that leave us? Sooner, or later, we are going to be forced to confront Iran, and it better be before they gain nuclear capability.

In 1989 I served as a Command Director inside the Cheyenne Mountain complex located in Colorado Springs, Colorado for almost three years.

My job there was to observe (through classified means) every missile shot anywhere in the world and assess if it was a threat to the US or Canada. If any shot was threatening to either nation I had only minutes to advise the President, as he had only minutes to respond. I watched Iran and Iraq shoot missiles at each other every day, and all day long, for months. They killed hundreds of thousand of their people. Know why? They were fighting for control of the Middle East and that enormous oil supply.

At that time, they were preoccupied with their internal problems and could care less about toppling the west. Oil prices were fairly stable and we could not see an immediate threat. Well, the worst part of what we have done as a nation in Iraq is to do away with the military capability of one of those nations. Now, Iran has a clear field to dominate the Middle East, since Iraq is no longer a threat to them.

They have turned their attention to the only other threat to their dominance, the United States. They are convinced they will win, because the United States is so divided, and the Democrats (who now control Congress and may control the Presidency in 2008) have openly said we are pulling out.

Do you have any idea what will happen if the entire Middle East turns their support to Iran, which they will obviously do if we pull out? It is not the price of oil we will have to worry about. Oil will not be made available to this country at any price. I personally would vote for any presidential candidate who did what JFK did with the space program---declare a goal to bring this country to total energy independence in a decade.

Yes, it is about oil. The economy in this country will totally die if that Middle East supply is cut off right now. It will not be a recession. It will be a depression that will make 1929 look like the "good-old-days".

The bottom line here is simple. If Iran is forced to fall in line, the fighting in Iraq will end over night, and the nightmare will be over.

One way or another, Iran must be forced to join modern times and the global community. It may mean a real war---if so, now is the time, before we face a nuclear Iran with the capacity to destroy Israel and begin a new ice age. I urge you to read the book "END GAME" by two of our best Middle East experts, true American patriots and retired military generals, Paul Vallely and Tom McInerney. They are our finest, and totally honest in their assessment of why victory in the Middle East is so important, and how it can be won. On the other hand, we have several very angry retired generals today, who evidently have not achieved their lofty goals, and insist on ranting and raving about the war. They are wrong, and doing the country great harm by giving a certain political party reason to use them as experts to back their anti-war claims.

You may be one of those who believe nothing could ever be terrible enough to support our going to war. If that is the case I should stop here, as that level of thinking approaches mental disability in this day and age. It is right up there with alien abductions and high altitude seeding through government aircraft contrails. I helped produced those contrails for almost 30 years, and I can assure you we were not seeding the atmosphere. The human race is a war-like population, and if a country is not willing to protect itself, it deserves the consequences.

Now, my last comments will get to the nerve. They will be on politics.

I am not a Republican. And, George Bush has made enough mistakes as President to insure my feelings about that for the rest of my life.

However, the Democratic Party has moved so far left, they have made me support those farther to the right. I am a conservative who totally supports the Constitution of this country. The only difference between the United States and the South American, third world, dictator infested and ever-changing South American governments, is our US Constitution.

This Republic (note I did not say Democracy) is the longest standing the world has ever known, but it is vulnerable. It would take so little to change it through economic upheaval. There was a time when politicians could disagree, but still work together. We are past that time, and that is the initial step toward the downfall of our form of government.

I think that many view Bush-hating as payback time. The Republicans hated the Clintons and now the Democrats hate Bush. So, both parties are putting their hate toward willingness to do anything for political dominance to include lying and always taking the opposite stand just for the sake of being opposed. JUST HOW GOOD IS THAT FOR OUR COUNTRY?

In my lifetime, after serving in uniform for President's Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, and Bush I have a pretty good feel for which party supported our military, and what military life was like under each of their terms. And, let me assure you that times were best under the Republicans. Service under Jimmy Carter was devastating for all branches of the military. And, Ronald Reagan was truly a salvation.

You can choose to listen to enriched newscasters, and foolish people like John Murtha (he is no war hero), Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Michael Moore, Jane Fonda , Harry Reid, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, and on-and-on to include the true fools in Hollywood if you like. If you do, your conclusions will be totally wrong

The reason that I write, appear on radio talk shows, and do everything I can to denounce those people is simple. THEY ARE PUTTING THEIR THIRST FOR POLITICAL POWER AND QUEST FOR VICTORY IN 2008 ABOVE WHAT IS BEST FOR THIS COUNTRY. I cannot abide that. Pelosi clearly defied the Logan Act by going to Syria, which should have lead to imprisonment of three years and a heavy fine. Jane Fonda did more to prolong the Vietnam way than any other human being (as acknowledge by Ho Chi Minh in his writing before he died). She truly should have been indicted for treason, along with her radical hus band Tom Hayden, and forced to pay the consequences.

This country has started to soften by not enforcing its laws, which is another indication of a Republic about to fall. All Democrats, along with the Hollywood elite, are sending us headlong into a total defeat in the Middle East, which will finally give Iran total dominance in the region A lack of oil in the near future will be the final straw that dooms this Republic. However, if we refuse to let this happen and really get serious about an energy self-sufficiency program, this can be avoided.

I am afraid, however, that we are going in the opposite direction. If we elect Hillary Clinton and a Democrat controlled congress, and they carry through with allowing Iran to take control of the Middle East, continue to refuse development of nuclear energy, refuse to allow drilling for new oil, and continue to do nothing but oppose everything Bush, it will be over in terms of what we view as the good life in the USA.

Now, do I think that all who do not support the war are un-American---of course not. They just do not understand the importance of total victory in that region. Another failure of George Bush is his inability to explain to the American people why we are there, and why we MUST win.

By the way, it is not a war. The war was won four years ago. It is martial law that is under attack by Iranian and Syrian outside influences, and there is a difference.

So, what do I believe? What is the bottom line? I will simply say that the Democratic Party has fielded the foulest, power hungry, anti-country, self absorbed group of individuals that I have observed in my lifetime. Our educational system is partially to blame for allowing the mass of America to be taken in by this group. George Bush has done the best he can with the disabilities that he possesses. A President must communicate with the people. And, I would tell you that Desert Storm spoiled the people. Bush Senior's 100-hour war convinced the people that technology has progressed to the point that wars could be fought with no casualties and won in very short periods of time. I remember feeling at the time, that this was a tra gedy for the US military. To win wars, you must put boots on the ground. When you put boots on the ground, soldiers are going to die. A President must make the war decision wisely, and insure that the cause is right before using his last political option. However, CONTROLLING IRAN AND DEMOCRATIZING THE MIDDLE EAST IS THE ONLY CHOICE IF WE ARE HELL-BENT ON DEPENDING ON THEM FOR OUR FUTURE ENERGY NEEDS.

Do You Know Why We Are Hated?

We're hated because of our success and great way of life, which the rest of the world envies. We're hated because much of the world depends on us for foreign aid money. History shows that such aid to those with their hands in the inverted position, breeds contempt in those recipients, whose self-esteem suffers when they accept such aid. And if we are so hated, why is it that millions of people around the world want to move here? Illegally seems to be the preferred way! Our brave military (NOT AMERICA AS A WHOLE) are in a war unlike any war this nation ever has fought. If we lose this war, we will lose the Middle East. If we lose the Middle East we will lose its oil resources and condemn Israel and the west, to a fate worse than death. Islamic extremists will gain a foothold from which to step up their war against sanity and export even more of their hatred to America and the rest of the world.

The world community, which has mastered the art of sucking at the teat of American largess; has come to regard America as an “International Park”! This park in their view, is a safe haven, where other nations, (particularly Mexico) can dump their hopeless, diseased, insane, criminal, uneducated and undesirable people. 

For the first time in American history, we taxpayers are becoming aware of the millions of illegal aliens and their anchor babies, demonstrating on America’s streets! These criminal illegals are very vocal in demanding “rights” and other benefits set aside for we lawful residents. We are now reaping the plethora of these foreigners and their greedy supporters  demanding open borders and rights never earned nor deserved. They are aided and abetted by, left leaning liberal Communists, Marxists, Socialists and the Mexican Government. These groups and politicians such as (you guessed it) Sen. Ted Kennedy, Senator Specter, Nancy Pelosi, President Bush and Luis Gutierrez (D Ill) spout  mantras and propaganda in an attempt to minimize the great damage to this country by giving those miscreants, who sneaked into America a legal status. They even attempt to deceive us through slogans like “family values, economic necessity and, “wanting a better life,” “nation of immigrants” and other half truths and outright lies - all guaranteed to insure a future voting block!!

For the first time in American history we have powerful politicians bowing to the wants of powerful corporations and ethnic identity groups who are demanding a free flow of unskilled cheap laborers whose expenses and social costs are being borne by America’s middle class, THAT'S US ! 
We must not allow the travesty to continue or we as a nation will literally become the  “International Dumping ground" for the third world exporters of the dregs of humanity. We, as a nation of hard working middle class Americans, are reaping the whirlwind created by the failure of our government to act in our best interests.

In my humble opinion there are too many of we Americans who don't have the remotest idea, nor do they seem to care, that the language in the Preamble to the Constitution speaks of the need to ‘provide for the common DEFENCE’ (OF THE COUNTRY AS A WHOLE) and to ‘promote the general welfare. It does not say providing because much to the dismay of many, "promoting"  DOESN'T mean PROVIDING! as men with their hands in the inverted position interpret it. Until we the taxpaying American public is capable of doing an effective complete transformation job of Americanizing the legal immigrants, and booting out "POST HASTE" the invading criminal illegals, it's  preposterous to talk about the massive influx of Hispanic immigrants bringing about or accomplishing anything! The real fact of life is that it's doing nothing other than turning America into yet another Latin American-style banana republic! And more to the fact it seems no one is trying to turn immigrants into Americans. To the contrary, those masters of harvesting future votes, the Democrats, are trying to turn new immigrants into wards of the state -- and with much success! -- so they will be permanent Democratic voters. Then there are those in DC, who are turning these border crashes into Americas new proletariat! With increasing numbers the Hispanics in this country have a 50 percent illegitimacy rate, the highest teen (maybe a course at home or in school called keeping you knees together would help) pregnancy rate of any group and the highest high school drop-out rate of any group, by acting like a high production factory for democratic voters of the future!!

Once again, just recently we U.S. citizens have to tolerate the threatening words from another “friendly” Mexican president. This time it’s barely elected Felipe Calderon regarding Mexican illegal aliens in the United States. In his Sept. 2 state-of-the-nation address, Calderon stated he would “energetically protest unilateral actions” of the U.S. Congress on immigration that exacerbate the prosecution of undocumented Mexicans in the U.S. He boasted that most of the Mexican consulates in the U.S. have been buttressed to protect the rights of millions of Mexicans living there illegally. “Wherever there is a Mexican,” he said, “that is Mexico.” Since these illegal miscreants are to be found like cockroaches in every state, I suspect that this may be the time we say ADIOS to America, as we know it. BK

I continue having these recurring thoughts. The Leaders of the Democrats in Congress have already tried various ways of sabotaging the war effort, with arbitrary timetables for withdrawal and financing the war for only short periods, so that President Bush would be forced to pull out American troops and could then be blamed for the defeat. But that hasn’t worked either because not enough Democrats in Congress are willing to risk political suicide by obstructing the military in ways too blatant to pass muster with the public. ... One of most realistic of all the insightful statements by General Petraeus was that ‘We are not going to kill our way’ out of the problems in Iraq. There has never been a moment when anyone in Congress, the White House, or the military has ever advocated anything other than getting out when the time is right. All the arguments, the rhetoric, and the shouting is about when is the time right. I along with many others think American troops have to stay in Iraq until the last terrorist is killed, or driven out of the country. It is a question of reaching the point where the Iraqis themselves can deal with the terrorist and other problems of their country without American troops. That is the direction in which the Iraqis seem to be moving already.”

Those craven democrats with no love for President Bush and no real wish for our win in Iraq; what if any success do they wish General Petraeus? They have gone on record saying that the mission is stupid! Why do they need such a great tactician and brilliant man? Why do they harbor in their black hearts the desire to see something fail? In their collective Machiavellian hearts why do they need a great general at all? In their desire to hurt Mr. Bush, is it necessary to sacrifice this fine man and troops, on their altar of hatred? If the Democrats approve sending him on what they desire to be a worthless mission, then they too are guilty in the murder of many innocent people. Lacking the courage of true patriots, they should have squashed the mission. Why approve Petraeus in the first place? I forgot "just more slings and arrows aimed at the President! BK

Now could be the time for a new idea for handling the Immigration idea, this vast group of aspiring citizen wannabes could be given fast-track legalization via military conscription: Brilliant! "NOT REALLY" The Romans, Ottomans and Nazis all did it, as did the British Empire during our own War of Independence. All resorted to foreign mercenaries as their own citizens became scarce. Immigrants already cook our food watch our kids and build our homes, so yes! Let’s get them to enlist in our military and help defend this country they so much want to be a part of. There should be "NULLUM GARATUITUM PRANDIUM"

Many great nations have found the road to self-destruction no secret, just study history. There are many ways, care to take a look at a few. Lets think of how Rome did it. We just emulate them by becoming lazy and not willing to do any of the hard work. Thus we begin to destroy our America. We bring in cheap labor from other countries which sure as God made little green apples our America will become a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country. Now refer to history, the only true guide man has. It proves that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism brought about by two or more competing languages and cultures. What a blessing it is for a person to be bilingual - however, very few, if any nations can survive the curse of a bilingual society. The histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do not assimilate are pictures of strife turmoil, tension, and tragedy! Then with a total lack of wisdom we can bring on further destruction of America if we allow these foreigners to maintain their culture, NO assimilation. We are all God’s children - all cultures are equal? That there are no cultural differences, it then becomes the mantra or golden rule that all minorities have it tough because of prejudice and discrimination by the white majority! Any other explanation is not "PC" and most unacceptable. Hell, without even half trying we could turn the 50 states into a Quebec!

The surest way to bring this about is to celebrate diversity rather than unity! The apparent success and miracle of our own multicultural experiment might have been achieved, not by tolerance, but by the dominance of the majority over all other groups. Without the dominance that once dictated what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance to hold us together. Heck it gets easier. WE could make the fastest growing minority the least educated. This would add a large second underclass who would be resistant to assimilation and antagonistic to our native population. Then the time would be most opportune to start a hate movement! We could begin by blaming all minority failures on the majority population. The PC liberal train is really rolling now. Now we could use a real haymaker to bring about Americas downfall; the liberals (though I fail to see what they have to gain from this) would love to move us in the direction of dual citizenship, and divided loyalties. It would celebrate diversity over unity. Just take a look at the middle east today, diverse people in that section of the world spend a great deal of their time hating and killing one another! For sure when they take time away from hectoring against the great Satan America, whose diverse, mostly peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precedent! People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation one. Forgive my being repetitious but go back to the Roman Empire and even look at Greece. Lets put a tight rein on what we use to commonly refer to as freedom of speech. No problem we make it unlawful to speak of anything that is deemed not PC or against diversity. Discussion is no longer the norm, with the multitude of languages allowed, we are tearing apart our (PRESS ONE FOR ENGLISH) educational and cultural foundations! Don't believe because immigration at one time was good for America, it must always be good. NOT IN TODAY'S WORLD DEAR FRIENDS!

Here I go again. I find it very difficult to understand how willing (mainly on the left) some people are to turn this great nation over to those who would demand our conversion or death. What is so difficult to understand when the enemy says day after day they wand us dead?
History has shown us that from the very onset of the struggle to create a free nation, young men of valor have willingly sacrificed their lives to attain this freedom and to secure it for future generations. Regardless of the trauma of an ever-growing number of deaths in the struggle, the people never tried to demand that their legislators attempt to stop the battle before victory was attained. They fully understood that the purpose of war was to kill people and destroy property. The nation that was the most effective at doing this won the war. Today with the rules being changed and through political correctness and a limp backbone it appears that we have forgotten these past lessons. Today we have become so obsessed with collateral damage, like don't harm a civilian, that we allow the enemy to hide behind them to continue the fight. Today the public would be up in arms if we went in and carpet-bombed as we did in World War II because political correctness and being liked is of more value than the concept of actually winning the conflict. The cut and run leftists among us see more valor in cutting and running! I wonder how they will behave when the terrorist scum come here on our soil? BK

Just a thought.  What if we convince the liberal PC gang that we need to change abortion laws to protect the innocent unborn, and make it "legal" to classify killing our enemies and convicted hardened criminals, to include:  murderers, rapists, and the scum of society as a new form of "late-term abortion"? 

The new "abortion" list will also include all those who would see us defeated and dead!  Since liberals love abortion so much, and many believe that God is Dead, and (a)llah (sic) is a-ok, we can tell them that we are removing unnecessary unviable tissue mass that is defective.

This will decrease an "over-crowded" world, decrease dependency on foreign oil, decrease methane from being released into the ozone layer from human gas emissions, and be a very "GREEN" thing to do.  Algore (sic) will have a nocturnal emission over the last one.

Here is a REAL INTERVIEW with an illegal Mexican at a protest march in Texas. Below is a good example of a discussion with a master of circular logic. Don't be logical, don't respect the truth or your adversary, just say what you think, make a new case when the previous case gets too difficult to defend.

Downtown Houston, Texas, May 1, 2006. Jim Moore was reporting for KHOU-TV, a Houston TV station working an interview with an illegal immigrant. The following is a transcript of that interview:

Jim: Juan, I see that you and thousands of other protesters are marching in the streets to demonstrate for your cause. Exactly what is your cause and what do you expect to accomplish by this protest?
Juan: We want our rights. We will show you how powerful we are. We will bring Houston to its knees!

Jim: What rights?
Juan: Our right to live here...legally. Our right to get all the benefits you get.

Jim: When did you come to the United States?
Juan: Six years ago. I crossed over the border at night with seven other friends.

Jim: Why did you come?
Juan: For work. I can earn as much in a month as I could in a year in Mexico. Besides, I get free health care, our Mexican children can go to school free, if I lose my job I will get welfare, and someday I will have the Social Security. Nothing like that in Mexico!

Jim: Did you feel badly about breaking our immigration laws when you came?
Juan: No! Why should I feel bad? I have a right to be here. I have a right to amnesty. I paid lots of money for my Social Security and Green Cards.

Jim: How did you acquire those documents?
Juan: >From a guy in Dallas. He charged me a lot of money too.

Jim: Did you know that those documents were forged?
Juan: It is of no matter. I have a right to be here and work.

Jim: What is the "right" you speak of?
Juan: The right of all Aliens. It is found in your Constitution. Read it!

Jim: I have read it, but I do not remember it saying anything about rights for Aliens
.Juan: It is in that part where it says that all men have Alien rights, like the right to pursue happiness. I wasn't happy in Mexico, so I came here.

Jim: I think you are referring to the Declaration of Independence and that document speaks to unalienable rights .. Not Alien rights.
Juan: Whatever.

Jim: Since you are demanding to become an American citizen, why then are you carrying a Mexican Flag?
Juan: Because I am Mexican.

Jim: But you said you want to be given amnesty ... to become a US citizen.
Juan: No. This is not what we want. This is our country, a part of Mexico that you Gringos stole from us. We want it returned to its rightful owner.

Jim: Juan, you are standing in Texas. After winning the war with Mexico, Texas became a Republic, and later, Texans voted to join the USA. It was not stolen from Mexico.
Juan: That is a Gringo lie. Texas was stolen. So was California, New Mexico and Arizona. It is just like all the other stuff you Gringos steal, like oil and babies. You are a country of thieves.

Jim: Babies? You think we steal babies?
Juan: Sure. Like from Korea and Vietnam and China I see them all over the place. You let all these foreigners in, but try to keep us Mexicans out. How is this fair?

Jim: So, you really don't want to become an American citizen then.
Juan: I just want my rights! Everyone has a right to live, work, and speak their native language wherever and whenever they please. That's another thing we demand All signs and official documents should be in Spanish. Teachers must teach in Spanish. Soon, more people here in Houston will speak Spanish than English. It is our right!

Jim: If I were to cross over the border into Mexico without proper documentation, what rights would I have there?
Juan: None. You would probably go to jail, but that's different.

Jim: How is it different? You said everyone has the right to live wherever they please.
Juan: You Gringos are a bunch of land grabbing thieves. Now you want Mexico too? Mexico has its rights. You Gringos have no rights in Mexico. Why would you want to go there anyway? There is no free medical service, schools, or welfare there for foreigners such as you. You cannot even own land in my country. Stay in the country of your birth.

Jim: I can see that there is no way that we can agree on this issue. Thank you for your comments.

My dear Mr. Bush, With all due respect may I pass on to you, from so many of us, the supreme disappointment in your aligning yourself with the likes of one of America’s most unsavory and solipsistic members of the Senate of our United States. You have decided to go against the will of the people, which at this period in time can only further alienate you from the American people and the Republican party. Mr. President may the good Lord help you to reverse this decision, which in my humble opinion, will be the worst of your tenure. With deep and profound respect and regard.

Liberals feel? Liberals care? Liberals feel, that their hands in the inverted position favored groups, have enforceable rights to my property and services of productive individuals. Conservatives (and Libertarians, I myself might be among them! We think that individuals have the right to protect their lives and their property from the plunder of the great, unwashed masses. BK

Liberals believe in justice, yet support a free but guilty OJ, and all of his kind.  They support the criminal, yet despise the victim.  Liberals support abortion, yet protest the death penalty.   They protest the death penalty, yet believe in euthanasia.  They believe in education, yet have dumbed down public schools to appeal to the lowest common denominator.  They believe in freedom, yet have enslaved an entire welfare class for generations past, and generations to come.

They will do anything to increase their voter base even allow illegal aliens to be treated better than natural-born citizens of this country.  No wonder the country is being ripped apart!  There is no middle ground between right and wrong.  Liberals believe that winners should be taught to lose, so that the real losers don't have their feelings hurt.

Our children and grandchildren are being indoctrinated in school in a liberal agenda.  Beware of the brain-washing that is occurring in American schools.  Talk to the children, and ensure that they know the true principles this country is based upon.  Don't be so lazy, and naive to believe that schools can teach your children your morals and mores. 

Take the little heads filled with liberal mush and educate them properly.  Teach them family values, manners, respect for law, respect for your American ethnicity not the liberal agenda.  And always remember that liberals have what I call the "protected species act".  The order is as follows:  American Indian, black female, white female, black male, Latin Americans, all other 3rd world peoples, and finally WHITE males.

Another agenda is to convince Americans that in order for Americans to "look" like Americans they must be ethnically mixed.  WHITE is out.  If you don't believe it look at the media.  Watch beauty contests,  Check the arts.  Who is the new Marilyn Monroe?  Is it Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, Beyonce?  Shnaqwue?  (Ok I made her up).

We the tax paying citizens will then have the dubious honor of standing by to watch the creation (almost overnight) of a super monolithic birth of several million new "illegal" voting American citizens, who have been granted amnesty from prosecution, under U.S. law ! Now guess how these several million new "citizens" will vote? Conservatism as a politically viable alternative to liberalism in this country, will be a memory along with the rule of law. From where I sit the only pleasure most of us who have been opposed to this travesty can derive from this is to see how long a wait it will be  until these millions of new citizens rebel at working for peanuts, organize and go on strikes for higher wages, medical and retirement benefits, etc. Then the corporate CEO's who have been supporting illegal immigration through campaign contributions will begin to pay the price (as well as the rest of us) for their collusion with those pols who went along to insure their place at the public trough! My life as I once knew and enjoyed it was drastically changed by Hurricane Katrina.  My property was largely destroyed by wind, rain and flood water.  My wife and I were forced to become what many called a refugee.  Therefore I feel qualified to express my opinion about the situation in New Orleans.

Issue 1.  Many liberals and minorities still believe that the FEDERAL government blew up levees to Flood blacks.  This now qualifies them for reparation (oops another excuse for more welfare).  Of course the fact that the poor, the old, the infirmed, the young, black and WHITE suffered, were injured, were displaced, and died equally is ignored, especially by the liberal media.

Issue 2.  Many displaced blacks want the projects rebuilt so they can return to their wonderful ghetto life.  And they want reparation for the suffering they endured because of Mother Nature's fury.  (More welfare.)

Issue 3.  The city of New Orleans re-elected the Mayor who is the single most incompetent and ill equipped person to help the city recover.  He, if fact, and his hopelessly inept staff contributed to the catastrophe that occurred during and after Katrina.  The deaths of many are on his hands.  I could mention each case of his incompetence, however, let me just mention one:  when the President of the United States talked to him on August 27th and asked him to evacuate "his" city Nagin said NO.  When the President asked him if the government could take a role in helping BEFORE the hurricane even hit, Nagin said NO.  After the disaster Nagin cried and pleaded to the FEDERAL government for help because the woefully inept governor, Kathleen "babbling" Blanco couldn't and/or wouldn't help.

Issue 3.  Nagin and Blanco don't know what to do to increase the liberal voter base in New Orleans.  Many of the welfare recipients who fled the city have found a nice gravy train in other cities around America and will only return to the city if they have a cheap or free place to live with increased welfare.  Don't ask them to WORK.  It is not in their vocabulary.

Here are some solutions to help New Orleans recover.  Turn the 9th ward and all other blighted areas into GREENSPACE.  That is when nature recovers from the salt-water destruction of all trees and plants.  Don't rebuild the projects.   Don't ask the non-productive and welfare recipients to return.  Clean out the pockets of corruption.  Start with the Mayor's office, and the New Orleans Police Department.  Hire new officers based on qualifications not ethnicity.  Start a dialogue with the FEDERAL government, apologize for past 'sins" and ask for help.  Study how San Francisco recovered from the great earthquake of the early 20th century, when almost the entire city was destroyed.  They had it rebuilt in approximately 5 years!  After 5 years New Orleans will probably be WORSE than it was immediately after Katrina.  I could go on.  The most important thing Nagin can do for "his" city is to apologize to the WHITE "chocolate" citizens of New Orleans who he insults daily with his criminal stupidity.  And then resign.  The citizens should then hold a special election and elect a mayor who can lead the city forward. 

The best example conservatives can use to show Americans what happens when a liberal government is in charge is New Orleans.  This is what will happen to the entire country if a liberal president is elected.  And it won’t take the fury of Mother Nature.  If elected President, the Hildabeast, "Osama Ubama" the so called Half-rican (half white, half African, ALL BLACK MUSLIM, or any other dedicated liberal Marxist will destroy the America we know and love in less than four years!  God bless us.

All of this is at that taxpayer's expense.
He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.
Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.
He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in
benefits. Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his.
The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash

Boy, I'm glad that Pres. Bush tries to listen to the people, not their party line. The problem is that the Democrats control the Congress from where they can do a lot of damage to the many freedoms we enjoy as Americans.

Only in a wide open campaign can those conservative Republicans hope to win the presidency next year. We better find a candidate of principle like Fred Thompson; a man who is prepared to be bold, as he was when he was AG in Tenn. and a member of the US Senate. He will also stand for very bold, much needed dramatic change in Washington. From where I sit it's a must that they had better make the case in no ambiguous way, that he will not continue in the same vein that the Lady, who is the likely left-wing Democrat to be nominated will follow. She will represent and attempt to continue the failed status quo - along with so many taxpayer bleeding bureaucracies that are failing! Need we mention all the big brother social policies (Welfare in disguise) that are failing, along with the high tax policies that are failing? We must never lose sight of our perceived weakness around the world, That has failed so badly in protecting Americans around the world.
It will be our day again only if we have that kind of campaign where we conservatives have a reasonable chance to expect the American people to vote for effective change, for a better, safer and more prosperous future - and that they will see that effective change as being Republican.

I have lived through, WW2, Korea, Nam, Desert Storm and now Iraq. I have had it with the whole group of spineless politicians ...both Democrat and Republican who lack the courage, will and fortitude, and devoid of strength of character to see this difficult task through. These barbarians from the sands of the desert are rapidly radicalizing the minds of the world's 1.4 billion Muslims to be very aggressive culturally, as well as violently, in their goal of converting all of us into followers of Muhammad! All of this is happening from the dark continent of Africa to Indonesia, to Cairo to Ankara, to Paris, to Rotterdam to London, and I am sad to say in parts of the northern USA! We are not a stupid people; but isn't it time we wake up and become aware, that there are those in the world that wish to destroy us and all we stand for.

There are those, with sons and in my case a grandson, who have no idea of why or how to articulate to their Marine or Army sons, why or what they are going to Iraq to fight for. May I? For good or bad in early 2003, with 9/11 fresh in our minds, our leaders decided that "closed" societies could no longer continue to operate under the cover of darkness, masquerading as civilians. At the time, we perceived Iraq and its WMDs as a genuine threat to our well-being. Thus, we invaded and removed a tyrant regime. With the benefit of hindsight, I now believe our fear of WMDs was unfounded. However having said this I still feel, although our initial reasons for the invasion may have been flawed, as the issues surrounding Iraq have evolved, it was the thing to do.  We are attempting to plant seeds of democracy, as terrorist operations cannot flourish in an open and free environment. However the al-Qaida is attempting to spread its fundamentalist doctrines and lifestyles in the area.  In fact, al-Qaida has the stated goal of firmly establishing itself in the Middle East, And eliminating Israel and the BIG SATAN (that's us folks) and thereafter exporting its radical beliefs and practices across the globe. Iraq is the primary battlefield in this struggle. There is no doubt in any thinking mind, that it's more facile to understand and support a war where the good guys and bad guys simply square off across a line in the sand. Unfortunately, most Americans have not taken the time and effort to appreciate the important nuances in this war of shadows!  I do somewhat fault the Bush White House and administration for failing to articulate these concerns. We may rest assured, though, the terrorist regimes have no illusions about what it takes to win and do realize the importance of Iraq; and that is why these miscreants are focusing their time and energy in such a savage manner to establishing a presence in Iraq!
Realizing our goal of promoting democracy is a daunting task, and God Forbid we may ultimately fail, however, we absolutely must ensure that the terrorists fail. We cannot allow Iraq to become a staging ground for a radical fundamentalist movement; or the world as we know it will become their oyster! We have seen what al-Qaida can do with opium proceeds. Imagine what it can do with oil revenues. My fellow Americans, stay proud of your sons who are going or who are there in Iraq to defend America and to stop the spread of terrorism.

Let's see,
I think it started when Madeline Murray O'Hare complained she didn't want any prayer in our schools.
And we said, OK.
Then,
someone said you better not read the Bible in school, the Bible that says "thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbors as yourself,"
And we said, OK...
Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehaved because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem.
And we said, an expert should know what he's talking about so we won't spank them anymore.
Then someone said teachers and principals better not discipline our children when they misbehave. And the school administrators said no faculty member in this school better touch a student when they misbehave because we don't want any bad publicity and we surely don't want to be sued.
And we accepted their reasoning...
Then someone said, let's let our daughters have abortions if they want and they won't even have to tell their parents.
And we said, that's a grand idea.
Then some wise school board member said, since boys will be boys and they're going to do it anyway, let's give our sons all the condoms they want so they can have all the fun they desire and we won't have to tell their parents they got them at school.
And we said, that's another great idea...
Then some of our top elected officials said it doesn't matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs.
And we said, it doesn't matter what anybody, including the President, does in private as long as we have jobs and the economy is good....
And someone else took that appreciation a step further and published pictures of nude children and then stepped further still by making them available on the Internet.
And we said, everyone's entitled to free speech....
And the entertainment industry said, let's make TV shows and movies that promote profanity, violence and illicit sex...
And let's record music that encourages rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes...
And we said, it's just entertainment and it has no adverse effect and nobody takes it seriously anyway, so go right ahead.
Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, classmates or even themselves.
Undoubtedly, if we thought about it long and hard enough, we could figure it out.
I'm sure it has a great deal to do with...

The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants!
That would be 11 million less people using our gas.
The price of gas would come down.
Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the border.
When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq.
Tell him if he wants to come to America then he must serve a tour in the military.
Give him a soldier’s pay while he's there and tax him on it.
After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country.
He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.
This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves.
If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo.
Problem solved. If you think this is a good solution to both the problems, forward it to your friends. BK 

Our friends overseas have been warning us that we here in America are in mortal danger of becoming "more and more unloved in the world, especially in the poorest countries." This could be one explanation as to why there's so much chaos and the large queue on the banks of the Rio Grande. There are multitudes of prospective immigrants, legal and illegal, dying for the opportunity to get here to tell us how unloved we are and get on Uncle Sugars dole! Of course with our putting Border Patrol men in jail for enforcing our laws this helps the line move faster!!!

When we are inclined to gripe about the cost of gasoline think about this. When you buy a bottle of water (9oz.) you pay roughly $1.49. Do the math - that is $21.19 a gallon. Now that is robbery.

Have you folks noticed the  "Peace Activists" always seem to demonstrate here in America, where it's safe? Have you noticed we don't we see Peace Activist demonstrating in Iran, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, North Korea, in the places that really need peace activism the most? I'll tell you why! Those craven democrats with no love for President Bush and no real wish for our win in Iraq; what if any success do they wish General Petraeus?  They have gone on record saying that the mission is stupid! Why do they need such a great tactician and brilliant man? Why do they harbor in their black hearts the desire to see something fail? In their collective Machiavellian hearts why do they need a great general at all? In their desire to hurt Mr. Bush, is it necessary to sacrifice this fine man and troops on their altar of hatred? If the Democrats approve sending him on what they desire to be a worthless mission, then they too are guilty in the murder of many innocent people. Lacking the courage of true patriots, they should have squashed the mission. Why approve Petraeus in the first place? I forgot - just more slings and arrows aimed at the President!

The liberals are cowards and traitors to this country.  If they don't get their way in everything they try to verbally assassinate their enemies.  Or in the case of some of them their "targets" mysteriously die in a plane crash, or commit suicide (think Vince Foster).  Under the Clinton administration over 25 people died mysteriously.  I guess it is a coincidence???  I do not subscribe to conspiracy theories.  However, having worked in intelligence for this nation for 40 years I do have a little "inside" incite.  Bush is being "painted" as a Texas cowboy, a shoot from the hip nitwit.  He does not help his cause by his stiff speaking style, or his seemingly slow-witted response to some questions.  He is not a grammarian.  But he is an original thinker, surrounded by some good advisors, who loves his country.  He is one of the only Presidents in our history who actually gets it!!!  We have enemies who are out to destroy us.  And he knows that he was elected to protect and serve this country.  He does not have the lying silver tongue of a Clinton.  But he does understand that we cannot be friends with our enemies.  We can't just try to "get along" with those who would see us destroyed.  He is a man who believes in God, and is not afraid to seek divine guidance.  He is tenacious when he thinks he is right.  And he will fight our enemies with every bit of power at his disposal.  A nitwit?  Hardly!  He may just be one of the great Presidents in our history because he appears to be the right man at the right time in our history.  911 changed the face of warfare.  Bush the first and his son were meant to be elected to correct the liberal sins of the past.  Bush the first would have been more effective had he been MORE conservative.  In the coming elections liberals need to be defeated at every level.  True patriots need to rise up in force and assure the security of this great nation, and keep it "under God and indivisible."

The time is now, for Americas self ordained Queen, San Fran Nan Pelosi and her most flagrant, shameless hectoring and strutting
on the world's stage to come to a halt! Her cavorting with supporters of terrorism is proof that she has begun a more active war against OUR President and the executive branch of our government!
However more importantly a do as you will signal or green light, has been given to every terrorist around the world! This clear and from where I sit unambiguous message to terrorists and terrorist sponsors around the world is that the people of the United States are divided and weak! We don't have the will to fight an enemy that has shown itself to be ruthless and not beyond killing more innocent Americans at home and abroad.
Pelosi's a woman who clearly desires to be on center stage. Her actions aren't simply fatuous; they're dangerous! But what is even more disconcerting to most of us is the "OH HELL" reaction of our so-called conservative leaders in Congress. It's time for our conservative leaders in Congress to start acquiring the testicular fortitude to start defending the President, the rule of law, U.S. troops in Iraq and those Pelosi went to the Middle East and betrayed!

Navy Seal Danny Dietz, killed two years ago in Afghanistan while defending our freedom, is being honored with a statue in his hometown of Littleton, Colorado, to be placed in the neighborhood where he grew up, across from the elementary school he attended. Dietz was also awarded the prestigious Navy Cross for extraordinary heroism in actions against the enemy.
All is not well, however, as concerned citizens object to placement of the monument because it depicts, gasp, a soldier with a gun. After all, in the eyes of children, its just a nine-foot guy with a gun. The town is also the site of the infamous Columbine High School shootings in 1999, a stigma for Littleton whether they like it or not, said one parent who objects to the statue. Fortunately, most Littleton citizens are more reasonable than the naysayers. If they object to children seeing guns, they better object to every TV in the house. They’ll see more guns there than anywhere else, said one local supporter.
Would that all gun dissenters remember the words of Darrell Scott, father of Columbine High victim Rachel Scott, who, testifying before a House Judiciary subcommittee on crime, said: What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence and when something as terrible as Columbines tragedy occurs politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA... We do not need more restrictive laws... No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.

I for one need to hear it but once, not over and over, that the terrorists wish us dead. However the erudite among us seem to pontificate on and on, to tell us that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace.  This unqualified assertion might possibly be true. However while we are constantly being bombarded with the slogans of kill the American Satan; it seems to be a great way to have us relax our guard and is meaningless hyperbole, meant to lull us to sleep and make us feel better! This approach also meant for us to give little thought to the specter of the horde of Moslem fanatics roaming across the world in the name of Islam. The fact is that the fanatics who wish us dead are in control of Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who have the world in a state of constant turmoil, with so many wars around the world. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent. It is the Islamic fanatics who take over mosque after mosque, plying their favorite sport beheading, stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. The hard undeniable fact of life is that we the peaceful majority have become cowed in our PC world and have become a "non sequitur" God forgive us our lack of attention!

Am I misguided in thinking not enough alert Americans are noticing the examples of the Mexican government continually affirming, that Mexicans remain Mexicans, wherever they are. The illegals have no reticence in proudly flouting their total disregard of American law, which is to me at least, ample proof of their allegiance to a foreign nation and their contempt for the American republic.
Those who argue on behalf of birthright citizenship, deny history and common sense! Those among us, who aid and abet illegal aliens, or demand amnesty, reward the lawbreaker and in so doing they are gleefully inviting the destruction of our own nation. I strongly point out that the rest of us have no obligation to acquiesce in cultural suicide. When will we put an end to this milking of Uncle Sugar?

From where I sit that paragon of duplicity and Machiavellian behavior, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, is the Neville Chamberlain of our time! Her attempt at being Secretary of state, along with blatant pandering and cowing, to appease the dictator of a terrorist state, was a disgrace to the high office she holds. It was also a personal affront to the president who said she should not make this trip. The Syrians who used her and this visit to validate their bad behavior by propagandizing the whole visit and her anti-war stance.
San Fran Nan Pelosi who suffers from a severe case of egomania, underscored what a dream world the Democrats live in because of their hatred for Our President and when it comes to dealing with our enemies! Their actions really border on the surreal

I have said many good things about former Sen. Fred Thompson and along with the many, who feel the same as I do, the most attractive thing about a possible Thompson run is that he doesn't give the impression that he thirsts for the job like a desert traveler looking for water. He isn't rushing and hints that he may wait until October to declare his intentions. He puts his presidential aspirations this way: "One advantage you have in not having this as lifelong ambition, is that if it turns out that your calculation is wrong, it's not the end of the world." WOW! What a  refreshing attitude! With an abundance of courage, he recently tackled that sacred cow of pacifism, Mahatma Gandhi. It was while subbing on the Paul Harvey show, he pointed out that during World War II, Gandhi urged the British people to surrender to the Nazis (sounds like our cut and run democrats of today). Mr. Thompson later opined that "the so-called peace movement certainly has the right to make Gandhi's way their way, but their efforts to make collective suicide American foreign policy just won't cut it in this country"! When most clear headed American's think of heroism, we think of the young American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, risking their lives to prevent another Adolph Hitler or Saddam Hussein. Gandhi probably wouldn't approve, but I can live with that. Now dear friends of a strong America if that's not enough to get you excited about the hunt for a Fred October, consider this from a John Fund interview in the Wall Street Journal: "So how would he campaign against Democratic millionaires he used to serve in the Senate with, such as Hillary Clinton or John Edwards? Having said that, please remember that throughout America's history people at the highest levels of government, have sold out we the people, for political expediency and personal power. I am afraid and confused. It is happening right now in this country and at the highest levels. The president's comments made in Mexico illustrate this. President Bush said immigration reform will take time, and we need an immigration law that will benefit both countries. I'll be damned if I can fathom why we need a law that benefits both countries. I may not be the sharpest pencil in the box, but I have been under the impression (OFTEN WITH DOUBTS) that our Congress worked to pass laws for the benefit of the United States of America! They should not and cannot pass laws keeping in mind what's of benefit to other countries! THE first concern of us all must always be the safety, security and preservation of America. Why has President Bush allowed his compassion to ignore the problem until it has become almost too big to handle? I firmly believe the cabal of those members of Congress and the mainstream media, who are out to destroy Mr. Bush, are too cowardly to do the right thing, to stem the tide of illegal immigration. WHY haven't we placed troops on the border to protect this country and stop the flow of drugs, guns, criminals, and terrorists? This would be the most prudent, most effective measure that they can undertake. Their unwillingness to do this speaks to what they think of the common, working-class American. There may be some truth in the thinking that we are under attack from within by those very people we elected to protect and preserve the Constitution of the United States. Why do we continue to act as sheeple shying away from pointing out these people who are doing things that have the potential to destroy what we have fought so hard to preserve, no matter what they claim their party affiliation to be. Traitors come in all sizes and shapes!!!

As I see it, watching the Democrats who have no moral compass or conscience is like observing a crooked poker game. They are worse than mere hypocrites. This cabal of Bush haters have become accessories to the murder of American troops! Now they are revealed for what they really are, a solipsistic craven group whose actions are demoralizing the troops and giving aid and comfort to our enemies - encouraging them to kill more American soldiers. The fact that they are harming our troops' morale by playing into the hands of the enemy means nothing to these Democrats. The Democrats simply don't have the guts to vote to cut off the funding for the war, so they came up with this absurd resolution simply to humiliate George Bush.

Government data shows that the illegal aliens over their lifetime would use $843 billion more in welfare and other government services than they would pay in taxes. Say NO to any action that would reward the illegal aliens with permanent residency and citizenship

He sure looks good to me! What presence. In comparison to the other aspiring Presidential hopefuls, from where I sit former Sen. Fred Thompson already evokes the obvious comparison to Ronald Reagan because of his profession since retirement. For those who can't remember former Sen. Thompson effectively emulated and embraced the Republican right when he ran for and won the U.S. Senate seat. If you look at the thinking of the Republican Party's conservative base, his views are more in line and stacks up well against Gingrich, Rudy and McCain the "Big Three" leading Republican candidates. He has a lifetime voting record from the American Conservative Union rating of 86% for his time in the Senate; also more conservative than that of Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain. He also has an American Conservative Union lifetime rating of 82%)! None of his background positions have been as bad, as those of former Massachusetts Gov Mitt Romney (R), and no baggage in his background is as negative as that of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R). If he is able to raise the money to win, former Senator Fred Thompson would make a good run at it by pointing out the conservative credentials of the "Big Three" are not as advertised! He could then truly show himself up as a tax-cutting, pro-life former senator. His exposure in his acting role on "Law & Order" does not hurt, either.

My perception has me thinking that we the people seem to have a real desire and proclivity for giving the Government more and more power - power which is used to interfere with the private affairs of citizens and is very often the cause of much grief and endless trouble. It's within the realm of possibility that we the people will lose more of our independence, which has been the cause of much of our greatness! Hells fire, we could sink into the helplessness of socialism, like France or Germany, whose people expect their government to feed and clothe them, allowing them to sit on their derrières and do little or nothing for themselves. Our government is taking over many aspects of our lives, from the cradle to the grave, including the art and manner in which we pray for our future admission to paradise.
We as a people must speak out and not allow this to happen any longer! BK

They say that to err is human, to forgive divine. So we must be on the alert and watch for this kind of thing, especially in this time of get Bush, with the almost continuous high criticism aimed at the President. I suspect that the majority of the American people regret that we are in Iraq. However I do not feel it safe to say that the majority of the American people, surely not I, wish or want for us to cut and run from our self appointed task in Iraq. Only President Bush can so to speak, pull the plug on our Iraq exposure. He, being a man of character, is not going to do this. So friends we settle for the liberal press (Bush haters all), as they heighten their criticism with whatever sour news from Iraq, which they find to gag us with ever day. Now they have a new arrow to sling into the hearts and minds of Americas Moms and Dads. The liberal media rejoices as every day they present the sour news about the administration’s gross failure in looking after our wounded. I for one refuse to believe that even feckless, liberal power seeking democrats would intentionally fail to provide for our wounded. However there are far too many mistakes being made! There are many wounded receiving less than the first class (post care) housing they are entitled too. However people have already been fired and replaced! Now both houses of the Bush hating Congress are being asked for more money to fix the problem. Can they at least, for the moment, overcome their hatred of the President and think only of the troops they claim to love and see that it's appropriated? BK

I may be preaching to the choir, but I find it is very sad and disconcerting to see high-ranking, retired military personnel seemingly lose all perspective on the role of the military in defending this country. For the first time our military is composed of an all-volunteer force. Each man in uniform was fully aware that at some point in their enlistment they might have to engage in hostile action that could put their lives at risk. They did not hesitate nor allow it to diminish their enthusiasm and desire to serve. During the current conflict in Iraq our liberal news media have made a concerted effort to denigrate the role of our men in uniform and constantly state that they are not good enough to win this conflict in Iraq. They constantly attempt to display their support by trying to remove them from the battlefield under the pretense of keeping them safe while being PC and denying them the opportunity to actually win this war. All of the current contenders in the 2008 elections, especially Hillary Clinton, in public statements made in recent years, were in full agreement with the need to remove Saddam Hussein from power. All of the Democrats were using information supplied by the Clinton White House, which agreed with the observations by the Bush White House. These people are not at all concerned nor give a tinker’s damn about the G.I. in action, they are very worried that this administration might actually succeed and rob them once again of their political power. They have lost completely any semblance of patriotism. Solipsism and political power has become their gods and they will gladly sacrifice this country to that God. what hope do we have? The God of our fathers    has not relinquished his control to these mendacious people; He is still in command and when the time is right they will see who the real God is.

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some 40 percent of the nation's population already having reached the governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

No spaghetti dinners and a gold watch. No longer!  Today former presidents receive a lavish pension (currently $186,000, but it increases yearly) payable as soon as they depart the White House, regardless of their age. In addition, former chief executives are granted hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual staff, office, and travel allowances. For fiscal year 2007, Clinton will receive approximately $1.16 million from the US Treasury - his telephone stipend alone will come to $77,000. All former presidents are also entitled to free, round-the-clock Secret Service protection for themselves and their families. The cost of providing security for previous First Families is estimated at $20 million a year. It seems as if only the very rich can run, and become richer! Thanks to we the people. This is borne out by the National Taxpayers Union, Clinton will reap a lifetime pension payout of more than $7 million, assuming a normal lifespan. The senior George Bush can expect to bank more than $3 million; for Carter, the total will likely top $4 million. Clearly the age when former presidents could find themselves in dire financial straits is long gone. Sadly, so is the sense of integrity and propriety that once kept men like Truman from devoting their post-presidency to money-grubbing. It wasn't only the buck that stopped with the 33rd president. The avarice did, too.

Democrats and some Republicans in Congress are seeking to humble, embarrass and, if they can, destroy the President and the prestige of his position as the Commander-in-Chief who is responsible for the safety of our military forces and the nation's defenses. By doing so, they are adding to the dangers that face our nation. And so I ask again: do you think that leaving a power vacuum in Iraq will make us safer? If, as a result of the power vacuum, the terrorists are emboldened and God forbid we sustain here in the U.S. civilian casualties comparable to those caused in Iraq by car bombs, will you publicly accept responsibility?

We the silent ones of the middle class have suffered in silence for far too long! We cannot afford the luxury of suffering in silence or continue to be silent much longer. The hardworking Bourgeoisie and members of the American proletariat, have not spoken out. Perhaps they don't recognize their increasingly marginalized role in our society. As a consequence they've all but lost their voice. Unless they make every effort to recapture that strong, clear and vibrant voice, all the major decisions about America and our future will be made by the elites and special interest groups in our government! Those elites treasure our silence, as it enables them to claim America's future for their own. I for one pray God that we will find the resolve to face these challenges to our way of life, and we do so soon; trust me, because I'm just enough of a dreamer to sincerely hope that middle-class America will awake soon and take action, or we will be seen with the shovels following the elephants in the passing parade! My God! It's beyond my ability to fathom why anyone would support a party whose main goal is to emulate failed systems around the world. This the liberals hope to do by turning the greatest nation in the world, into a nanny socialist state. This great country of ours was founded on a basic foundation of entrepreneurial hard work and capitalism - giving every citizen a chance to make it, if they take advantage of our country's free education system and work!  It seems however that every program put forth, by the democrats, takes America a giant step further down the road toward socialism with big brother in charge. Now not many have asked me, but personally,  I don't want the government taking our money (taxes) from hard-working Americans and giving it to those who have found the way to beat the system and sit on their derrieres, with their hands in the inverted position I don't want to wait a year, to have an operation or medical attention, under a Hillary national health-care plan run by the government. In my seventy nine years I have, for some 50 odd years observed the Democrats (with the help of the left-wing media) as they have brainwashed this country into believing that the government knows best how to run our lives. If you have fallen for this, I pray for you. We do not need to become like France or Germany, where people pay 50 percent or more of their incomes in taxes, to cover social programs and have unemployment rates over 15 percent. It's a proven fact, when you allow the government to run a program, it costs much more than it would under private industry. They seem to hold very little regard for our money! Come on, folks, let's use a little common sense and take steps to get the government out of our lives. Other than national security, one job that falls under that province is control of our borders, which they are failing miserably at!

Doing God’s Work?

None more than the Democrats and liberals who constantly speak about the “separation of church and state” in our Constitution, yet many politicians sound like traveling preachers at those Saturday night evangelistic tent meetings! On more than one occasion, the preacher using very strong rhetoric, has said "government exists ... to ensure we take care of seniors and that we take care of the disabled. It exists so we take care of those who struggle mightily for whatever the reason” - then came the basket. I assume even those who have an aversion to work partake! I may have missed something, but does our Constitution really say that? My faith in God tells me to help those in need, but an amount is up to me, and not withheld from my paycheck, by those avaricious bottom feeders at the public trough! I along with so many others, am tired of paying taxes so politicians can attempt to do God’s work with our money after they take their cuts off the top. We can only pray to God for divine intervention to have some relief since voting sure doesn't seem to help. BK

From where I sit I find it difficult to fault this picture. Am I dreaming or is oil now at $50 a barrel and gas prices appear to be on a constant downfall NOT up. Hey, the deficit is falling in spite of money we had to make available for Katrina and Iraq. WOW! How can this be? Unemployment is falling, as jobs are being created, more and more. I read in the unbiased media that revenues to the U.S Treasury are at an all-time high. Wages are going up; Americans have more money in their pockets. Lower taxes take less from them and employers have raised wages for the jobs that Mexicans are now leaving. Guess who is taking them now, those that Americans won't do, yet thousands of would-be employees flock to interviews for those very jobs. If Americans won't do these jobs, why are twice as many people showing up for interviews as there are jobs? I hope you have noticed the stock market is breaking all-time high records on a weekly basis, and the economy is firing on all cylinders. Now there really has to be something wrong with this picture, as you in the media bombard us with there are no jobs, companies are sending jobs overseas, wages are stagnant and people are worse off today than they were just a few years ago. Is this just to pander to the whiners among us? Inflation is in check and the cost of borrowing money isn't rising. The housing market doesn't seem to have burst any bubble, no matter how big a bubble the media tried to concoct!

The unions in their concerted effort to destroy Wall Mart, must have had a cow, when last week, Wal-Mart announced the expansion of its (WELL RECEIVED) program to slash prices on a long list of common generic drugs. All this to the cheers of millions, YES MILLIONS, of us seniors and folks on fixed incomes. By the end of next year, the company has promised to make about 300 medications available nationwide for US$4 per month. Wal-Mart's critics, (Union loud mouths leading the charge), of course, aren't impressed by this. They say the company is only using its enormous buying power to grab market share from rival drugstores, and to cash in on some good publicity. What they neglect to say is that the potential of so many dues paying folks, who earn their living there, is slipping away from their mantle! The beneficiaries of this initiative are not so vocal and insolent however. The frustrated union organizers can call it a publicity stunt if they wish, but tens of thousands of poor and sick Americans, along with smart shoppers aren't really interested in nitpicking over motives. They just want the pills, that will keep them well, while saving a bundle on what they buy!

Who pays the price?
In remarks made to Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, during a recent Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, that paragon of veracity, Sen. Barbara Boxer, said, "Who pays the price? I'm not going to pay a personal price. My kids are too old and my grandchild is too young. You're not going to pay a particular price, as I understand it, within immediate family. So, who pays the price? The American military and their families..." I have found in public information that Douglas Boxer, the son of Mrs. Boxer, I estimate his age to be between 38 and 42. If Mr. Boxer, who has never served in the military, had any national patriotism, he would do his patriotic duty and enlist now in the Army, while he is still within the age limits! I doubt if he will serve in the military because it is quite evident there is no patriotism in the Boxer family. Mrs. Boxer was right that she would not pay a personal price, but it isn't because her son is too old (he can enlist), it is because she is a senator and she shows a total disdain an lack of respect for the military. Mrs. Boxer's comments to Miss Rice were not just outrageous, they were ignorant and discourteous to her, plus denigrating and a slap at the men and women who volunteer to defend this country and, yes, the right of the senator to "free speech," even if the speech carries a loathing, insolent, repulsive, cruel and rude tone. We should listen carefully to the speech of this poser unctuous liberal. Just as they have double standards, they also use scatological doublespeak. They say what their audience wants to hear, mostly rhetoric they have no intention of honoring, but use for the purpose of pandering to stay at the public trough. Mrs. Boxer may think she was  "speaking truth to power," but because liberals have no truth, she missed by a long shot.

We must wait for Hillary "it takes a village Clinton"; for more good ole boy affirmative action government to perpetuate the mess created by a welfare program that trades votes for sitting at home on your ass receiving checks, that originate from the pockets of hard working citizens!

Dear Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, National Guard, Reservists, in
Iraq, in the Middle East theater, in Afghanistan, in the area near
Afghanistan, in any base anywhere in the world, and your families:
Let me tell you about why you guys own about 90 percent of the backbone in
the whole world right now and should be happy with yourselves and proud of
whom you are.

It was a dazzlingly hot day here in Rancho Mirage today. I did small
errands like going to the bank to pay my mortgage, finding a new bed at a
price I can afford, practicing driving with my new 5 wood, paying bills for
about two hours. I spoke for a long time to a woman who is going through a
nasty child custody fight. I got e-mails from a woman who was fired today
from her job for not paying attention. I read about multi-billion-dollar
mergers in Europe, Asia, and the Mideast. I noticed how overweight I am,
for the millionth time. In other words, I did a lot of nothing.

Like every other American who is not in the armed forces family, I
basically just rearranged the deck chairs on the Titanic in my trivial,
self-important, meaningless way.

Above all, I talked to a friend of more than forty-three years who told me
he thought his life had no meaning because all he did was count his money.
And, friends in the armed forces, this is the story of all of America
today. We are doing nothing but treading water while you guys carry on the
life or death struggle against worldwide militant Islamic terrorism. Our
lives are about nothing: paying bills, going to humdrum jobs, waiting until
we can go to sleep and then do it all again. Our most vivid issues are
trivia compared with what you do every day, every minute, every second.

Oprah Winfrey talks a lot about "meaning" in life. For her, "meaning" is
dieting and then having her photo on the cover of her magazine every single
month (surely a new world record for egomania). This is not "meaning."

- Meaning is doing for others.
- Meaning is risking your life for hers.
- Meaning is putting your bodies and families' peace of mind on the line to
defeat some of the most evil, sick killers the world has ever known.
- Meaning is leaving the comfort of home to fight to make sure that there
still will be a home for your family and for your nation and for free men
and women everywhere.

Look, soldiers and Marines and sailors and airmen and Coast Guardsmen,
there are eight billion people in this world. The whole fate of this world
turns on what you people, 14 million, more or less, do every day. The fate
of mankind depends on what about 2/100 of one percent of the people in this
world do every day â€" and you are those people. And joining you is every
policeman, fireman, and Emergency Medical Technician in the country, also
holding back the tide of chaos.

Do you know how important you are? Do you know how indispensable you are?
Do you know how humbly grateful any of us who has a head on his shoulders
is to you? Do you know that if you never do another thing in your lives,
you will always still be heroes? That we could live without Hollywood or
Wall Street or the NFL, but we cannot live for a week without you?

We are on our knees to you and we bless and pray for you every moment. And
Oprah Winfrey, if she were a size two, would not have one millionth of your
importance, and all of the Wall Street billionaires will never mean what
the least of you do, and if Barry Bonds hits hundreds of home runs it would
not mean as much as you going on one patrol or driving one truck to the
Baghdad airport.
You are everything to us, as we go through our little days, and you are in
the prayers of the nation and of every decent man and woman on the planet.
That's who you are and what you mean. I hope you know that.

Americans, who love Liberty and personal freedom, ought to be afraid. Not just Republicans! Listening to Barney Frank who represents the most extreme end of the Leftist Democrats, who want big brother government to control more and more of the lives of Americans. He is extremely clever with the process that he and his sycophantic cabal use to trash, by small bits and pieces, both the Freedom that makes us great and the Prosperity that makes us strong. History, which is the greatest guide man has, shows, that the type of authoritarian equality (called socialism) that Frank espouses drives nations and their people into the poorhouse! It has happened again and again, and yet these people never learn. Can we make our system fairer morally or ethically? Hell no if it means asking the government to handle it we can't!  Government is only capable of making things more fair by bringing the have people DOWN to the level of the have nots!  It is innately incapable of lifting anyone up. Socialism has never been successful at that. And a large part of the problem is this idea of being "fair;" the WORLD isn't fair; *Life* isn't fair... so how can the most inefficient mechanism devised by man do anything to change that? The only thing we as a society can do to "make the system work better is to embrace the idea of KYHO: Keep Your Hands Off! The last election has shown that we the people haven't learned that lesson yet.

Woe is me! The Big Kahuna along with many others of the conservative bent, have been observing a national day of mourning these past few weeks (I'm speaking not of President Ford's funeral, but rather the day that Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi seized power in Congress). I also think, it could very well lead to a trauma that will last a couple of years.   Ali Baba Pelosi and her band of liberal thieves are on the march to empty our pockets! So once again the American people, speaking through those benighted among, us have really created a monster that will be hard to live with. Wahabbism is the radical teaching that created the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad on the industrialized world. Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when you are seeking political office in the United States, Obama joined the United Church of Christ to help purge any notion that he is still a Muslim. He could be like the fox in charge of the chicken coop!

I fully agree with and support President Bush's decision to send 21,500 more troops to Iraq to win the war on terror (by killing the enemy wherever they are found. I hope and pray.)
This is a long overdue decision and the former Army chief of staff, Gen. Eric Shinseki, made that assessment over two-and-a-half years ago, prior to his retirement in June 2004. The increase in troop strength and the troop and surge to victory is necessary and must be carried out now and followed through. We must defeat the terrorists over there now by killing them; or we will be confronted by them here in our own homeland, and it will be a hell of a fight. It is no mere coincidence that there has not been a terrorist attack in the United States since we went after the enemy in Iraq. However, President Bush can't seem to win. Whatever he does, the mainstream, mostly liberal, media bashes him, along with a great deal of help from those benighted seat warmers on the left side of the aisle! They criticized him when he followed the advice of his military leaders regarding troop levels. After the election's message and the Baker-Hamilton report, as well as the constant drumbeat from many liberals looking for any reason to beat up on him, he agreed to increase troop levels. What happens? The liberal cabal piles on again, with NO solutions of their own except cut and run!

This is really a sad state of affairs. We the public have been so brainwashed by a plethora of negativity from the media that it's no wonder there is such a groundswell to just get this over with. The Democratic dominated House and Senate should now approve the funds for the troop increase without undue delay. It's high time the liberals and Democrats realize what is at stake. We must defeat the terrorists now over in Iraq and Afghanistan. If not, we will eventually and sooner than later be confronted in our homeland and have to engage and fight them over here. Let's support the president and the war on terror now. Remember the enemy has stated repeatedly they want us dead! Is that difficult to fathom? 

Once again, President Bush is having to clean up the mess left by the inaction of President Clinton. The United States attacked suspected al Qaeda members responsible for the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings. Had (back room Bill) Mr. Clinton been serious about doing his job as president instead of reaping the benefits of the position, we might have taken care of the problem in 1998 instead of 2007. I only wish we could scrap political correctness in Iraq as well and let our troops kill the enemy when they find them, getting the job done. Unfortunately, the liberal media and liberal groups have stifled our success. War cannot be waged with political correctness. Victory in Iraq for the United States and the Iraqi people is the only answer. If the left cared as much about America winning as it does about Mr. Bush losing, we would have the job done. The display of tunnel vision and ignorance of the liberal ideology is frightening.

I'm with my President, what a thankless job he has! However like many, I wonder how far is our fine military expected to stretch before they just become cannon fodder?  While I'm told and have read, the United States currently has about half a million men under arms, as well as 700,000 National Guard and Army reservists, our troops in Iraq are being asked to do multiple tours. I am also told we have 119,000 troops sitting in Europe. Enjoying the good life (trust me I've been there). Does anyone think the Soviets are about to come out of the east and devour it? There may be good reasons to keep an American presence in Europe, though I find it difficult to fathom why! They don't seem to like us anymore; so let’s see if they can stand on their own feet without the American crutch. This includes many other places in the world where we are playing policeman and economy helper. Is this because God ordained his? However is there any foreign policy goal that supersedes the need to stabilize Iraq? The only one that comes to my mind is, why can't we stabilize our Mexican border against the illegals that cross it daily? turning this grand old Republic into a third world nation.

I, and I feel not alone, only wish we could scrap the political correctness in Iraq as well and let our troops KILL the enemy and get the job done. Unfortunately, the liberal media and liberal groups have stifled our success. War cannot be waged or won with kissy face political correctness! If the Durbins and the Kennedys along with the Barney Franks on the left in this country cared as much about America winning as it does about Mr. Bush losing, we would have the job done. The myopic tunnel vision and ignorance shown by those of the liberal ideology is frightening. Like Rome, liberalism and political correctness could bring about the demise of this grand old republic.

Wherein lies his loyalty?

It was with a sense of great dismay that I learned that Minnesota had elected a Muslim (Keith Ellison) to the House of Representatives; Keith Ellison, a 43-year-old defense attorney is indeed, a practicing Muslim. As such does he not have to follow the edicts of the Quran and Muslim leaders? I would think he would have no objection to answering the following questions? In regard to Israel does she not have the right to exist? If a fellow American authors an anti-Muslim book do you believe a death warrant is acceptable? Do you subscribe to the belief that honesty is not required when negotiating with non-Muslims; or that Jews should be killed wherever they are found? I find it so difficult to fathom the thinking of the cabal of liberals who supported him, when his religion is the least tolerant on the planet. May I offer the suggestion that those voters read the Quran and learn exactly what it says with regard to Jews and Christians. Don't be upset by words like beheading or cutting off hands or feet as punishment for Christians and Jews and non-believers alike! The popular offerings from Muslim leaders seems to be "death and destruction to Jews and their ally the Great Satan!” That's us folks. If we continue to remain asleep to those among us who seek our destruction, we here in America may not have to worry about a hijacked aircraft or chemical attacks attacking our Capitol... it could be destroyed from within by a member of Congress, or that cabal of terrorist sympathizers who are already among us; waiting for the moment that they will be called upon to strike from within. The Way I See It

The last time this senior checked, we still live in the good old USA, where dictatorial regulations and PC thought police are unwanted. Given that over 95% of America’s Christians celebrate Christmas, there’s no need to talk about “winter break” or “holiday” parties when referencing a Christmas event. To believe otherwise is to manifest, a Sine qua non, to what many refer to as secular bigotry. The words of our Constitution forbid government to make laws regarding free exercise of religion. For far too many, this includes celebrating Christmas or any mention of our Lord Jesus Christ!  As far as the nonbelievers in Christ are concerned, I would hope they believe in civility. To them, Merry Christmas sure beats “trick or treat” hands down, when it comes to what is known as holiday season.

It Goes On and On I Muse

Now that Saddam is gone into the ash bin of history, how will the cabal of Polisi, Biden, Reid, Schumer and so many attackers of our President react? Their policy of cut and run hopefully will not be put into action. These armchair warriors might do well to pay close attention to the words of a great military philosopher from 500 BC; Sun-Tzu. His words are quite applicable to what our President faces on a daily basis from his liberal left. These words were and are worth noting..........................................    "When you engage in actual fighting, if victory is long in coming, then men's weapons will grow dull and their ardor will be damped. If you lay siege to a town, you will exhaust your strength.
Again, if the campaign is protracted, the resources of the State will not be equal to the strain. From where I sit we the people must suck it up and be equal to the strain.

Thinking About 2008 and NO PC

May all the self-seeking pols go collectively to hell. I will be looking for and God willing will find an actual representative of we Americans. A man who has not volunteered to be castrated on the altar of tolerance, multiculturalism and political correctness - at the expense of America and us all. BK

The Best and Brightest

Am I alone in wondering, how the five-term Texas Democrat, has faced numerous unpleasant surprises with the enemy?  However this time it will be as the incoming chairman of the House Intelligence (OXYMORON) Committee.
The honorable Mr. Reyes, like a number of his colleagues and top counter terrorism officials that have been interviewed over the past several months, they couldn't answer most fundamental questions about the powerful forces arrayed against us in the Middle East. Is it fair to ask the question, how can the Intelligence Committee (OXYMORON) do effective oversight of US spy agencies when its leaders don’t know basics about the battlefield or the people involved? Are we now to be in the hands of fools or the blind? Scary thought! BK

The Lesson Is Here To Learn

We here in America are fast becoming a nation of self-serving solipsists, saddled with pacifism, self-hatred and complacency.
This with no question of a doubt, at least in my mind, is lengthening the war against radical Islam and causing undue casualties among our fine young men and women. By the grace of God and only after absorbing horrendous human and property losses, will the possibility exist; that left-leaning Westerners be able to likely overcome this triple affliction and confront the true scope of the threat. Coming to grips with the fact that the terrorists want us of the Christian world dead! The civilized world, God willing, will likely then prevail, but belatedly and at a higher cost than need have been. Such is what happens when a war is fought (as this one is) from a political standpoint, not allowing our military people to carry the ball in a manner that brings death to our enemies and total complete victory.

For Many Christmases To Come – For Some It’s Here

Twas the night before Christmas at Rock-Away Rest,
A bundle of us seniors were looking our best.
Our glasses, how sparkly, our wrinkles, how merry;
Our punch bowl held prune juice plus three drops of sherry.
A bed sock was taped to each walker, in hope
That Santa would bring us soft candy and soap.
We surely were lucky to be there with friends,
Secure in this residence and in our Depends.
Our grand kids had sent us some Christmasy crafts,
Like angels in snowsuits and penguins on rafts.
The dental assistant had borrowed our teeth,

And from them she'd crafted a holiday wreath.
The bedpans, so shiny, all stood in a row,
Reflecting our candle's magnificent glow.
Our supper so festive; the joy wouldn't stop;
Was creamy warm oatmeal with sprinkles on top.

Our salad was Jell-O, so jiggly and great,

Then puree of fruitcake was spooned on each plate.
The social director then had us play games,
Like "Where Are You Living?" And "What Are Your Names?"
Old Grandfather Looper was feeling his oats,

Proclaiming that 'reindeer were nothing but goats!
Our resident wand'rer was tied to her chair,
In hopes that at bedtime she still would be there.

Security lights on the new fallen snow
Made outdoors seem noon to the old folks below.
Then out on the porch there arose quite a clatter,

But we are so deaf that it just didn't matter.
A strange little fellow flew in through the door,

Then tripped on the sill and fell flat on the floor.
'Twas just our director, all togged out in red.

He jiggled and chuckled and patted each head.

We knew from the way that he strutted and jived

Our social security checks had arrived!
We sang -- how we sang -- in our monotone croak,
Till the clock tinkled out its soft eight p.m. stroke.

And soon we were snuggling deep In our beds

While nurses distributed nocturnal meds.
And so ends our Christmas at Rock-Away Rest,

'Forelong you'll be with us, we wish you the best.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Wishing Won’t Make It So

Merry Christmas and a terrorist free New Year. However in order to make it so; I wish more of our citizens would come to the realization that we are currently engaged in fighting a war for our very survival, against a cunning, ruthless and determined enemy - an enemy that has become so skilled in using rights guaranteed by our own Constitution against us.  THINK!
Who will be there to protect our children and grandchildren from this evil, if we allow our apathy to cause us to fail in confronting them now in earnest? Having lived through the appeasement time of Chamberlin and many others who believed that the go along to get along theory was the way. History has shown us how wrong and misguided that approach was! 

The time is upon us when all concerned Americans must either rise up and take a stand or acquiesce and sink further into a state of apathy. A lack of action, at this point, will only seal the fate of our heirs. We owe it to our founding fathers who fought against great dangers themselves to ensure that we could avoid having to make a choice between death, conversion or enslavement from foreign enemies.
The time is NOW for those of us who value life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to unite, in a common front, and be heard. It has been rightfully said "that In this era of violent intimidation, it is crucial for the continued life of our free society that we speak out, and do so fearlessly." Show your concern for the future of our great nation. Don't ignore or abandon those brave men and women who are engaged in a daily struggle, both here and abroad. Trust me lip service doesn't count, we must join with them and fight to preserve our American way of life. It's either this or grant our enemy their fervent wish which is to see our good old USA eliminated.
