I am going to try to get this across one more time, because from much of what I am hearing, most folks still just don’t get it! America is not perfect. We all know that, and we know that it never has been perfect! We are not out for “perfect” here, folks, but we can sure settle for and maintain “best”, can’t we?

Why is it, then, that America can recognize athletic excellence, develop it, promote it, even exploit it, and successfully sell it all over the world, but when it comes to recognizing our historical, philosophical, and cultural excellence, we seem to have to apologize all over ourselves to the whole world and do everything in our power to play down its importance – even to the degree of diminishing the existence of that excellence?

I’m just about totally sick of proud American Patriots having to explain ourselves and put our lives and futures in jeopardy to exist in a semi-peaceful state of normalcy that was taken for granted a mere fifty years ago! Oh, don’t get me wrong – I’m perfectly willing to put my life and what future I have left in jeopardy, just like our founders did so many years ago, to maintain the fight for America as it should be, but damn it – I’d like to see a little more progress made in that direction instead of a constant backslide!

Let’s tell it like it is, shall we? There is no other system of government on earth that will guarantee those governed the kind of freedom we are supposed to have in this country! Now, however, the way things are, it won’t be long before we have nothing to be proud of but our long ago history! We have just about squandered everything that made us “best” and most folks don’t know it, don’t believe it, or just plain don’t care!

What made us best was an inherent belief in the power of the individual, and a system of government that backed it up. That is the short version of the American Dream – pure and simple. There is absolutely no room in America for anything that slightly smells of socialism, but we are flooded with it and the smell from it is putrid! The individual is not important to a socialist. God isn’t important to a socialist. Excellence isn’t important to a socialist beyond that which may be exploited for the good of the philosophy.

The American Dream is not swimming with visions of hyphenated, self-serving, Marxist, feminized, gender confused, identity muted, academic hypocrites joining hands and singing “We Are The World”! Get over it! The Real American Dream consists of rugged individuals who have a strong moral compass and faith in their God given talents as well as their adventuresome spirits to see them through the wonderful task of living a worthwhile life in a beautiful world. They can step up to a challenge without having to look over their shoulders and see if anyone is following them! They choose the groups they want to join, the things they want to buy and sell, and the characters they wish to portray without having to check a government issued guidebook for social correctness.

Happiness depends on a live and let live world - which works - in a morally straight society without ridiculous regulation, abominable taxation and constant degradation.

Here’s the difference: Real Americans have a chance of surviving the assaults of religious extremists who want only to see us dead. The brand of America that we have become will succumb to next “shot across our bow” and sink our own ship, even as we drag everyone down by refusing to let go of the handholding!

The power of the individual is greater than that of all the dictatorial elites that continue to drive our economy into the ground, steer our government in a collision course for disaster and send our history and culture into oblivion. Greater too than the despicable socialist academics who know no value of human life or philosophical excellence, the Real American Spirit can call a spade a spade, look the intruder in the eye, and spit in the face of his evil! That is the fabric we need to weave back into this country!

Step up to the plate and give it your best shot! It is all you have left.
