Are We There Yet?

It’s
that time of year when I attempt to remind everyone that the IRS and Income Tax
specifically is immoral and unconstitutional in the eyes of the Founders and
authors of that great Constitution.
Understand that I have never recommended “going underground” or avoiding
the inevitable yearly “filing” as so many radical freedom fighters subscribe
to, but with the current financial chaos and the obvious slide toward
socialism, I must wonder if that time is not rapidly approaching.
I
have always contended that the best course to follow would be to implement the
Fair Tax within the system and follow through with the necessary results,
including and especially the complete eradication of the IRS. I have reiterated that I am aware of the
obvious flaws in the Fair Tax as it has been proposed, but those flaws are
probably necessary, at least in the beginning, to wean the government and
citizenry off the teat of income producers.
Cold turkey at this point would only cause a bloody revolution as I see
it. While that may be the ultimate
purpose of those continuing to force their fingers down the throats of every
law-abiding, producing citizen of this country, the resulting regurgitation of
a freedom revolution has the propensity to cause more harm than good.
In
the meantime, though, I am providing a couple of links here at the request of a
respected reader to bring attention to a body of work assembled
by an individual named, Lee Brobst. Please make these a
part of your ongoing individual education in the philosophy and enemies of
liberty.
The
graduated income tax system was dreamed up by a handful of folks as a specific
means to an end. That end was most
certainly NOT the security and continued prosperity of our great nation. It was the immoral goal of harnessing, and
thus controlling, the most productive people on the face of the earth for the
purpose of eventual slavery. This has
been done by intimidation and appeal to a “legal sense of duty” which does not
exist.
We
have in a very short time gone from a free country in charge of her own destiny
to a confused, regulated populace that can no longer manage our own lives –
much less our finances!
Something
must and WILL be done. If anyone still
thinks that we are on the Obama road to hope and change utopia, you are a
fool!
The
other avenue that many conservative minds prefer is the Flat Tax concept where
everyone is taxed at the same rate.
While this would be preferable to the current tax the majority fiasco,
it would not solve the main problem.
There can be only slavery to government and never individual freedom as
long as INCOME is taxed. This is
elementary stuff, folks. Income
taxation of any kind allows for the punishment of productivity – whether or not
the base percentage is the same across the board.
Understanding
the Fair Tax is not easy, even though the majority of us have lived with
consumption tax all our lives. To
thoroughly understand the Fair Tax, you must remember that it calls for the end
of all income and corporate taxes while it replaces the revenue from these with
a consumption tax. That simply means
that tax is collected on the user – not the producer. We are all users, but not all of us are producers. See why it is called the “Fair” Tax?
One
of the problems that people of my generation, (retirees) have with the concept
is that they will now be re-taxed on money that they have already paid income
taxes on. Where have you people
been? I don’t know about you, but I
have continually seen my money taxed and re-taxed for years. It’s called income tax on investment
income! Don’t tell me that you think
the tax loopholes on investment income have always protected your little nest
eggs! Also, has anyone taken a good
look at your stock portfolios lately?
How about your savings accounts, retirement funds, and don’t get me started
on Social Security!
Here’s
where a little morality comes in, and it just might wake you up. Every generation that has ever done great
things has sacrificed so that their posterity would be better off.
There
is nothing moral about a tax system that confiscates from producers today so
that government can determine who gets to live and die in any kind of “quality”
circumstances when they are no longer producers. These are personal decisions – not government’s. There is nothing moral about the fact that
government retirement, (Social Security), is paid for with money confiscated
from current producers. Your
confiscated money went to take care of the elderly and infirm when you were a
producer. Those of you who went along
with the socialist plan of trimming the population down via birth control and
abortion are now responsible for the fact that pretty soon the producers are
going to be outnumbered. They probably
already are if you count all those who refuse to be producers because
government welfare is so attractive to them.
Lets
take it a step further. In every
society where “ethnic cleansing” has transpired, who were the main
targets? Let me give you a little help
here – the answer is women and children of course. I believe that the good old US of A has systematically engaged in
a sort of social ethnic cleansing over the past forty years. The family – especially large families – has
been the target. Women were told
several decades ago that they should get out and produce – incomes, not children. So, in large part, they did. Men and women were told that they needed to
produce large enough incomes to supply any offspring they might have with
expensive college educations or they were irresponsible. So that was woven into the fabric of
American life without question. If any
“unwanted pregnancies” happened along the way, there was always the
encouragement of abortion and fancier forms of birth control to handle
them. And finally, the natural
incentive to start families and produce children was negated with the advent of
the sexual revolution, which condoned “free” sex and even “alternative”
lifestyles.
Yes,
we’ve been engaged in an immoral social ethnic, (and ethic), cleansing all
right. The ethnic part were those
targeted offspring of traditionalist Americans, who had sacrificed so much so
that their posterity could inherit a life with fewer sacrifices. Can’t have those kind of individualists
inheriting a country run by collectivists, now can we? The ethic part is just that – individual opinions
about ethics will not be tolerated in a society run by moral relativism. So the education system had to be ramped up
to wipe out the effects of any individual values the traditionalists tried to
implant and model for their children.
You
want to know why so much of the government has turned a blind eye to
immigration enforcement in America? I
believe it finally dawned on them that the homegrown stock of producers was
dwindling in the aftermath of this “cleansing” and America would need an influx
of producers that could be easily controlled.
That is my indictment. Do with
it what you will.
The
one thing we cannot continue to do in this country is tax income!
The
government coffers must not be supplied by such direct confiscation of
production, for with that comes complete control of individual liberty. We’ve got to start somewhere in the fight to
reclaim what so many have sacrificed and died to leave to us. It might require a few sacrifices of our
own, don’t you think?
Are
we there yet? You tell me!
